- Millennial students were born digital but those responsible for their education were not. We will examine ways that the learning process has shifted with the advent of web 2.0. Participants will learn the new art of network literacy as they begin to grow their own personal and professional learning networks.
- In order for students to become successful members of a global society they need to develop digital-age literacies. 21st century teaching and learning demands a new view of literacy including technological literacy. However, learning must go beyond technology merely as a tool. Examine ways that the participatory web can serve as a powerful educational tool in teachers’ and students’ efforts to achieve 21st century literacy.
